LOL wow small world, 911r did you buy your car off a guy name Kai from Long Beach?

I bought the Supersprint F1s off your car I think, the previous owner put it all back to stock. I remember checking out your car at the PO's house and drooling over your speed cloth interior.

Small world indeed! Yup, Kai is a great guy. I regret not just taking the car as is. At least I was able to snag the car before it ever went to market.

Next up on the agenda is replacing a couple more trim pieces in the interior, installing more spherical/SPL goodies, new brakes/BBK, and a CF driveshaft (currently waiting for the GB to play out). The car is about to cross 103,000 miles (which marks about 8,000 miles from when I purchased it) and it feels amazing, apart from a small vibration in the steering wheel over 80mph, and a clunk from the rear end whenever going over bumps (solid rear subframe bushings?). Hoping new tires solve my vibration issue.
Solid bushings here and no clunk over bumps.

Yeah, a few others have said the same. Incredibly frustrating. Thinking the shop that installed them (maybe) didn't tighten something up all the way on reinstallation, and now it's shifting around whenever I go over a bump—but that's just a theory. Texted the owner of the shop and got nothing. Might just end up having to take the car to a different shop to have everything checked out, and potentially have the subframe dropped again.

New tires are on! Car feels much better at higher speeds, no vibration. They're definitely less grippy than my old 100tw tires, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to take for not feeling like I'm going to total my car every time I drive in the wet.

Met up with a friend this morning to grab coffee and go to a local car event in his new 21' (LCI) M5 Comp. Cool car. Wouldn't say they made any huge improvements over the Pre-LCI model but it certainly looks a little nicer with the new headlights.

Continuing my interior restoration process, I replaced the trim on the dashboard that was pretty scuffed up.

I have a brand new set of RIA that would work great for your car if interested. 10/10.5. Diamond Silver.

How does that trim piece even get scuffed? Either way, nice attn to details!

That shot with the M5 sure makes the E90 look old, but still great!

I'm definitely interested! Hoping to get my suspension & brakes dialed in before spending big money on wheels, but I might be able to figure something out.

I have no idea! There are some other weird scuffs / scratches on the interior as well. Especially on the door panels. Drives me crazy hahah.

Finally got my rod bearing picture back from MRF. Don't know why he didn't just give them to me as most shops do. Small thing though, doesn't really matter.

I've been toying with the idea of selling my car and getting another, perhaps cleaner car with fewer miles to build...but decided upon on keeping my current E90 instead. I figure it's better to mod my higher mile/less precious car that took me forever to find and purchase another low mileage E92 down the road and leave it completely stock apart from a few OEM+ goodies.

So, that leads us to the parts list:

-- Edited 11/09/20 --

Suspension - waiting for the go-ahead to purchase any of this until I meet up with TJ and the guys over at Trinity. They will be dialing in my suspension, and doing all other installations/maintenance from here on out:
- SPL Spherical front race arm conversion (Bimmerworld) -- sub front lower wishbones for street, instead of race
- SPL rear upper wishbone/camber arms
- SPL toe arms w/ lockouts
- SPL rear swaybar endlinks
- Bimmerworld RTABS
- Bimmerworld camber arm bearing kit
- Diff spring rates for my KW Clubsports: 658 (5in) / 972 (8in)

Brakes - would like to get these done sooner rather than later, OEM stuff is at ~40%:
- Giro Disc 2pc front rotors
- OEM rear brake kit from FCP euro (for obvious reasons!)
- Endless MX72 street/track pads front
- Cool Carbon S/T pads rear
- BimmerWorld front & rear brass caliper guide bushing kit

Maintenance:
- AntiGravity H6 30Ah battery
- DCT Service incl. new pans, with Viton gaskets
- Valve covers, valve cover gaskets, oil separators, sparkplug tubes, sparkplugs
- have injectors professionally serviced
- Rebuilt OEM driveshaft w/ new flex disc.
- Pinnacle Motorsport under-tray

Engine/Power:
- Macht Schnell Stage II intake
- Macht Schnell Test Pipes
- Supersprint Race Exhaust (no idea where to buy this btw...)

Interior:
- Recaro Pole Position, black with alcantara inserts
- Recaro slider kit
- Recaro seat bracket
- Macht Schnell Floor Mounts
- Macht Schnell seat-belt receptacles
- M-Performance steering wheel with yellow center stripe
- General deep clean & refurbishment of the interior (leather repair, steam clean cloth)
- 2x new cup holders
- decor strip cup holders (cup holder surround)
- OEM LCI start/stop button
- passenger side quarter window sun-shade receptacle

Exterior:
- ABS bumper reflector shave & repaint
- Repaint rear bumper
- Touch up any leftover imperfections with Dr. ColorChip
- Paint correction & ceramic coating
- PPF over high impact areas

Wheels:
- Titan Wheels w/ 275/35 squared 100-200tw tires for track
- Squared 219Ms w/ 275/35 squared Michelin Pilot Sport 4s for street

That picture next to the M5 makes the e90 look like a baby!! Which is difficult to do.

Apex wheels are starting to grow on me ...

SPL goodies & 12mm rear bimmerworld spacers are on the way. Now I just need StripclubDJ to work his magic.

hmmm, some RIA would really set this car off! I know a guy

That said, those are probably my favorite "cheap" wheels you can stick on this car.
