No coilover will be more comfortable than oem. They all run stiffer spring rates.

Yep, exactly what I was going to say. They were definitely firmer but not uncomfortably so.
Car was not my daily driver so it didn't bother me at all.

Contacted ST regarding fitment with 18x10 ET25 Apex wheels and received this response:

"Thank you for contacting ST Suspension. With that much of an offset you will most likely need spacers. Now we cannot say 100% for sure as we only test fit with OEM wheels and tires when we develop and test fit. The ST and KW coilover systems are built to the same dimension so if its needed with KW it will also be needed with ST. In reality, unless someone out there make a super narrow spring and shock, you will most likely need spacers with any brand of coilover."

yep

it depends of tire width and lowering level.

sometimes you can use shorter springs (140mm, instead of 170 in the kit) and then fit it without spacers.

it depends of shock/spring setup. sometimes suspension with stiffer setup can work really more comfortable that with a softer spring.

st xta has 70nm springs in their kit for m3 e92.

for example, i have kw competition kit on my m3 e46 now, which uses 200nm springs on front and i'm really surprised that it's okay for street driving (at least, not proportional with this figures).

Reviving an old thread, but does anyone have the specs or part number for the proper shorter Eibach springs?

It should be the same as the clubsport. Look into slicer’s thread. Part number will vary depending on desired springrate
