Hey all,
Great thread. Other than performance gains, is there a reason to change the shaft out? Can you let us all know what to listen/look out for when/if you have a failing drive shaft?

Eventually the CV joint at the end of the DS will fail and the center support bearing will fail. I don’t know when, but probably not until high mileage. Many say their DS is clunky. Mine was. But the new CF DS that I put in was just as clunky.

It's not, no. As mentioned in the first post, this is a brand new, more advanced driveshaft design that has not been offered before by anyone

We (hopefully) have an oem DCT driveshaft coming into us shortly, and we can take our measurements.
The DCT fitment is of priority to us, so we will make making a test sample for it after measurement confirmation. It may even turn out that it's the same as the MT fitment (won't know for certain until we check the oem sample) |

As soon as road testing is complete on the E92 M3 MT driveshaft, we will start testing on the other fitments.
I don't have an exact ETA, but the driveshaft should be in the hands of the tester next week. |
