I'm very interested to hear about the Dodson clutches and how the feel in normal driving situations. What other DCT upgrades did you have done? Any internal changes or custom tune?

Last I heard from Sergei, he was putting the car away for winter. Other than the clutches, I don't think the DCT was upgraded. I'm think the same guy who tuned the ECU also tuned the DCT.

I'm not sure if he does, but he'd be missing out heavily when boosted
My n/a setup gained almost 4mph from xpipe setup to full American racing header system
My n/a trap stands at 122.89mph which is unheard off for a n/a car.
I did 9.8 60 to 130mph dragy verified aswell

The car is still in a game

Here is a short vid I've made last weekend. We tested modified soft and were looking for AFR numbers by gear and EGTs. Therefore, cameraman (110 kg bro) was looking for stabilizing the picture on Awron display and not on the speedo.

However, you could see the speedo acceleration on the backstage.

Almost 20 sec from 0 to 330 kmh

And that was not a prepared start anyway: pump fuel (93 RON), 100+kg cameraman, +14C of temp (good for the power, bad for drag). AC is on)))

Even with that conditions the car hits 145+mph trap speed at 1/4 mile mark based on RL data!!! That was simply crazy fast!

I am going to Moscow mile event at 27-28 July, there would be 1/2 standing mile races with time and speed measurements at 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 mile points.

The track should be prepared (glue etc). I would use MS109 race fuel and no passengers sure

Hope to beat each and every of my records

Today I did one good run at 1/4 mile: 10,138@140.12mph

New WR is in!

Check 3rd row from below)

The track was very bad prepared and my Hoosiers 315/35/17 did not come in from US.

Will try to jump in 9's and 145+ trap in a month at special drag strip with official docs from Race America.

Stay tuned!

With that kinda horsepower you going to need a system like ARH. 3" is the way to go... That 0-200km is incredible... I think I've watched this video at least 10 times lol...

I mean, this is cool, but it’s like watching somebody getting launched into orbit - wish I could try it, probably too old to do it and wouldn’t be able to even if I wanted to

Update

Hi, guys!

Attached is the short vid from somebody's phone of the WR run and more visible screen shot from the table of results.

Also, this the link to the most part of 1/4 competition where you could find some of my runs in good Quality.

Some notes:

1. You could see from the video of the run that there is a big-big room for better start if track is well prepared. However, I think that on the given conditions I made more than perfect attempt.

2. The start was done from 1,500 rpms (idle).

3. DSC off

4. 0-100 kmh was 2.8s and 100-200 kmh was 4.9s during that run.

5. Tires: 315/30/18 Hoosier Drag Radials, but DOT version. Normal drag radials are restricted here. To overcome bad grip I used 0,78 bar of pressure in the tires And did 140+ trap with that pressure.

6. Fuel: MS109. Spark plugs worked in little fuel society (see the pic).

7. Ice tank with ice, dry ice under the hood (see the pic) and killer-chiller inside. That combination worked perfectly: at the start I had 5-7C air inside the cylinders while outside temps were 29-31C and my boost was almost 18 psi.

8. ARH full system: I had it from the very beginning of VT4 project. It's a must!!!

Plans:

In a month we should have 1/4 competition at well prepared track with the runs during the night. What we plan to do with the car to beat all of my records?

1. 315/35/17 Hoosier DR's.

2. 240/50 kg rear springs in my Intrax suspension instead of my current 220/70kg.

3. Aquamist HSF4 meth system.

4. 76mm instead of currently used 79mm SC pulley (plus 1 psi).

My current soft is now perfect from fuel delivery perspective for 79mm pulley (we have 0.82 AFR from 1st to the mid of 5th gear, and afterwards 0,76 AFR due to EGTs passing 840C mark). We did several cuts of fuel this year. With 76mm pulley we would try our old soft with more fuel.

The weakest thing here is DCT... I changed 2 times already Dodson Sportsman clutches... This is my 3rd and last pack. We should go to some different solution if the future cause it is crazy to change $6k+ clutch after 9-10 runs... I understand that my engine is 1000+ now, but still...
