bubbles in rear window tint

Anyone know how to fix bubbles that occurred in rear window tint? Is this due to defroster lines or film is becoming too old? or cheap film (i doubt it)

The film might be falling apart. I've never had a problem with bubbles forming after a tint job like that.

I guess you could try to park it in the direct sun for a while to soften the film, then try and smooth it back down. I suspect it will need to be removed and re-done by a professional. Maybe this is covered under warranty by the film company?

I bought the car with tint already on it. I was told the film is cheap and shouldn't make bubbles if it was good film no matter how long it stayed on the car. But I don't trust what they say as they are just trying to market their film.

It could also just be shitty prep work and incorrect procedures by the installer.

Regardless, I'd find a good shop in town and have them check it out.
