If the rotor is barely used why the pad had 50% remaining ?

The pads are at 8.5-9mm thickness. I don't know exactly what a new pad thickness is for this kit, from my research most commonly i've seen is 12-14mm I believe so i'm conservatively saying 50% left. From my experience with a Brembo kit on my E39 M5 that has mainly just seen daily driver/spirited drive use over the years, i've run through a few sets of pads before needing to replace the rotor rings.
