Aftermarket LCI 'style' lights for 2008 e90 M3's
There have been some available for quite a while from a distributor in Australia, but they want $415 + $169 shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/M3-LCI-Style...d83f79&vxp=mtr I have an uncle in Australia that could help me out on the shipping piece, and I could get them for $450 shipped. Still not that good of a deal for something I can't find reviews on quality on. I just noticed these pop up today actually, and are very well priced. I'd prefer the outside lights be all red (I messaged the seller to see if they have these). If anything, I'd just use the inside lights as they are what bug me the most on my 2008. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-3-Series...798d74&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/170984564244...witem=&vxp=mtr If they don't have all red outer lights, I could also put red tint on them or spray paint them with a red gloss if it came to it. Thoughts or comments on these LCI 'style' lights? Sure would save me a lot of money over a full LCI upgrade, and I think they'd look nice enough. |

Never saw those 2nd ones. They look really good. For the price they are worth getting. All red would be best, but like you said you can add the red film tint or any professional shop can candy coat those lights for you. The same way they tint in black they can tint in red and actually make it look more blended to the existing red. You can put them on as-is on your car and if they don't look so hot then get them tinted. Sprayed smoke tinting is usually about $100, should be about the same in red. At that price have the shop also install them for you.

Hoping it all works out, $250 is a lot cheaper than full LCI conversion, and I still think it looks good. I'll post pics of them on my car when they arrive. |
