Isn’t that the same GB that its still ongoing ? They announced that they might ship next Month to whoever was on the list and followed thru with the sale.

I sent MFactory a PM last week asking for an update. Their response,

"we have just finished assembling/balancing a few intial sets and have shipped them out to customers to verify the fitment/nvh.

Once those have been approved (shouldn't take too long, hopefully), we will finish assembling/balancing the rest of the units and have them shipped out. I'll keep you updated"

This dyno testing by Motortrend's friends at Tune Time Performance of a before-and-after QA1 CFDS install in a Dodge showed this result:

"The steel shaft showed us 367 lb-ft and 413 hp. Swapping to the carbon fiber shaft showed us 373 lb-ft and 424 hp."

So in our cars maybe that may equate to around 4-5 lb-ft and 10hp at the wheels.

I definitely felt better acceleration after my CF DS but I did a dyno and it didn't show up in the numbers.

I personally think those numbers are a bit high based on the following reasoning:

Assume the total weight of the rotating driveline mass (gearbox, DS, diff, axles, rotors, rims, tires) is ~250 lbs. So if we reduce the DS by 10 lbs, that's a 4% reduction in rotating mass. Since we loose around 20% of 414HP in driveline losses, or 83HP, then the WHP gain should be around 4% of 83 HP or 3.3 HP. That could be hard to see on a dyno.
