Would Houston be a better place to go vs Brian Harris? I want to try euro but I'm also looking into trading in my G37 when I make the upgrade to the M.

Went to Atlanta and drove mine back. I got it used and had specific wants, and they so happen to have it. Did go to Peake a few times and had a bad taste in my mouth, went to Brian Harris though to get DCT update and there were great!

IPG... Not making much headway with Peake or Brian Harris? That's what sucks about being a small market with one dealer per town. No Competition!

I would grab all the Houston/East Texas dealers and send them an email. We did this when we bought my wife's Volvo XC90. Use one email for all if you can so they know they are competing for your business. Tell them what you are looking for down to specific options and either ask for offers or just out right offer $500 over invoice as a fair deal. The trade in makes it a bit more complicated and once they find out you have a trade in they will lowball you on the value of that to try and make some money... You might be better off selling the G37 privately but I understand it can be a pain and between the time involved and the tax savings from trading in a private sale may not be worth it.

And yes, Peake does not rank highly in customer service though I have been fortunate. Had a regular SA for years who took care of me. Unfortunately he has recently left Peake so my experiences at Peake may take a turn for the worse!

Brian Harris service has always been great. They did my 1200 mile service and no issues. Also, they replaced the moonroof motor on my E46 on warranty even though it was past the covered period. Brian Harris sales has never really done anything to impress me.

Thanks for all the help! Yeah I just don't have the schedule for a private sell on my G and most of the people looking to buy just want to test-drive with no real interest at all.

I'm take a shot at atlanta and Houston though. I'm up to drive anywhere within 8 hours lol since I would be making the drive alone.

I have a question by the way. Are the LED LS3 AE by BavarianX the same thing as the OSS Design angel eyes? I know I want to do this first as my first mod but I don't know if they are the same thing so I know which one to go with.

I'm gonna be in the same position in a couple of weeks as well. I'd be interested in hearing how your experiences go in regards to finding a good price and trading a car in.

I ended up getting 1500 over invoice at peake... I had better quotes from the dealers on the board but I justified the 1500 when factoring in the price of the trip (picking up PCD). The dealers on the board were quoting me 400-600 above invoice.

Similar story for me, was something liek 1400-1500 over invoice from Peake... Making the trip to do the PCD would have have pretty much eaten up the saving vs the dealers on the forum. I thought long and hard about though as I really wanted to do PCD but ultimately the schedule wouldn't allow it.

Splitters too? I bought mine from the parts department but they told me they wouldn't install and that I had to take it to the body shop they use... Ask about that for me if you don't mind! Could be the parts guys was wrong.

Thanks Ryan! I'll check back with them... Congrats on the delivery, saw your post yesterday about the delay. We expect some pics, particularly the perf parts!

No problem.. I have them using double sided tape on the front splitters and glue for the rear spoiler.

The reason I went with the tape on the front splitters is due to the possibility of having to remove them in the future.. If I went with the glue, the bumper would have to be repainted which I want to avoid.

The chances of me taking the splitters off is slim.. but I did it just in case.
