MY11 E92 M3 "Individual" - Adelaide.
I had a look at an E92 M3 with a few "Individual" items specced on it (on Carsales, at a dealer located in Adelaide.)
Off the top of my head some features- it's got Individual Brass Metallic paint, Individual Pewter (white) leather, Individual Audio (info off VIN decoder), "Competition" option ... So a few expensive options. Price is at $61.5k ATM, I think it has been reduced from a higher price? I actually liked the Brass Metallic paint, the white leather is perhaps not very practical... I had a look over it. If anyone interstate is interested in it I can offer some observations. I won't post them on here. It appears to have originated in Sydney, then made it's way to Tassie and now Adelaide. The PPSR report gives the last registered state as Tassie, but I've seen pics of it with Euro SA plates on it- don't know what the go is there? It hasn't been serviced in Adelaide going by the books. |

yeah its certainly an 'indvidual' spec not many guys would go for that car, having said that I like the paint, the interior not so much
What's wrong with the car? |

I've always liked the Brass metallic exterior colour, ever since the E46 M3 but that interior colour would make me run the other way - way too 'Individual' for me! Interestingly, it's the first E9X I've seen with the Titanium shadow interior trim like I have in mine, rather than the more common brushed aluminium or carbon leather.

It's funny I'm the other way, I love the interior but the exterior colour is a bit "eh".

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it. I'm not a mechanic and didn't drive it.
I did expect a few areas to be better for the asking price/ km - but it is at a dealer and I haven't looked at any others around that price. I'm not going to post anything on here as I don't think it would be fair on whoever is the next owner. Especially given that colour will always make it obvious which Aussie M3 is being talked about. Suffice perhaps to say I'm a fussy buyer. Here's a pic of it to show what the colour looks like Their pictures don't do it justice. |

You do need to see it in person.
Not everyone necessarily wants their M3 to stand out either. If I get one the M3 badge will be coming off. I much prefer a vehicle that blends in and doesn't attract attention. |

If you're looking around that price range I'm in the process of prepping my E90 M3 for sale if the 4dr tickles your fancy. Have $10k+ in receipts for it (BE bearings+arp bolts .etc done)

Running costs long term are also a factor for me. The E90/92 is the dearest model I'm looking at, partly due to SA registration costs being rated on the number of engine cylinders. Insurance also seems expensive- the 1M, F80 M3 and M2 work out cheaper which is puzzling! |

Love the white colour, but it looks like you've done quite a few mods (on top of the bearings)? I'm looking for something as stock as possible.

I'd also noticed this on carsales. The exterior colour certainly is 'individual' but it's a refreshing change from the usual colours. I could live with it even if it does have a bit of a 'retiree' look about it. The white interior is a definite "no". It would look grubby very quickly. Black interior is the way to go IMHO.

Bigger alloy paddles, bpm tune(dct+eng), air filter, eibach springs, exhaust and carbon front lip. If you are interested I can get some more details/photos (it's currently in storage) I think it's ~62km...I just don't drive it, have a ute for daily and a turbo E30 that's done 2500km in 10 years |

Just a view and each to their own but daylight difference between a slightly twesked e90 /e92 and a stock one from a butt dyno point of view.

Nah, if your patient and you negotiate well and buy off an enthusiast, they usually have the stock parts to take it back to stock on the very off chance there is any price appreciation Just a view but better cars to buy in terms of garage queens from a speculative investment perspective. But surely if you are thinking investment on a e9x m3 it's a 2013 ish pure in white or orange with sub 50k odometer.
