As long as you install the parts properly, Dinan will provide warranty. Dinan parts do NOT need to be installed by authorized dealers to be covered under warranty.

Unlike an ECU tune, where others claim 20-30hp gains and nobody really knows, this is purely mechanical, and a greater reduction %, will produce more HP, period.

I'll post the results after install.
Please definitely do an before and after....My next set of mods are exhaust and pullleys and I was waiting to see what Dinan had up their sleeves....

With the Dinan name on this product, and more so the warranty that follows, I just may have to jump on this mod.

Your son's post regarding the actual reduction numbers is exactly the type of information that allows for a more objective evaluation and comparison with other products and I appreciate him posting it here. I got my info from calling Dinan many months back, but either I was misinformed or the specs have changed since then. In any event, I'm glad this finally made it to market. I feel like I've been waiting forever for it.
I couldn't agree with you more. Incidently, I never vaguely post informatiion, unless it specifically says its an opinion.

Well I know my dad prob wanted to post this up, but I can wait. I just have to put it up now. We did the before dyno today. Hit 368whp. This is right where we expected it to be. My dad said 370 right before we did the dyno.

Now were just waiting on Dinan!!! Well and UPS.

Don't stock m3's hit 340-350whp on the dynojet? So with all the Dinan bolt-ons, he gained 18-28whp?

I've seen stock dyno charts around 330 before..

Here are my mods. I think the dyno results are right on with reality. The mods actually add more than 30 hp when added up individually, but at different RPM points, so collectively you'll only see about 370 hp at peak. Now we'll see how much the pulley kit adds, if any. I also believe that my buddy Drew, who has the first and fastest M3 in the country to run in the 11's, dyno's at 367.

Dinan Stage 2 Software
Dinan Intake
Dinan Middle Exhaust
Dinan 3.62 LSD
Dinan Free Flow Exhaust
Dinan Stage 1 Suspension
Dinan pulley kit (coming in January)
Advan 20" RS-D black wheels
Blacked out trim every where possible
Black wrapped roof, (I decided on a sunroof)
gp thunder 8500k Angle Eyes
35% tint on windows

Hmmm.. with just an filter I had 351HP to the wheels. I had thought with all these mods it would be around 390-400HP easily. Anyone care to chime in?

Alright, so most of you probably haven't seen this amazing chart by pencilgeek. (Chart) This should help explain things.

On a dynojet, stock M3s have gotten from 324WHP all the way up to 350-360WHP. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to do a dyno the car stock so we do not know what the real gains are for all the mods thus far. But for the gains of the pulley we should get an accurate reading.

Yea I understand. I was looking through that DynoDB a while back and noticed there's a pretty big gap between each dyno.

I don't know why people get so fixated on 'peak' gains. Like Arnie said, the power gains 'are at different RPM points'. It's just as important, if not more important, to gain 20-30hp at 6k than it is at 8k.

Why are these listed as working up only until 2009 MY? Will they work on 2010?
