WTB low-optioned e92 6spd manual w/ CF roof

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 25,000.00

Item Interest
Hey all - guess I'll throw my hat in the ring; I'm looking for a low optioned E92 6spd manual w/ CF roof. I loved my e90 slick top manual but always pined for a coupe, that CF roof and single hump dash. After selling it back in late 2018, I fear I may have sold the perfect car, but alas, here I am again trying to score that mythical combo.

Criteria:
Not too picky on ext color but Red is an absolute NO
Not picky on int. color
NO DCT
NO Sunroof
If you have an 08/09/10 that fits the bill, I'm fine w/ that, but I'd prefer an 11 and up.
Ideally 60-85k miles car, although if you have a 90k + mile car w/ FULL maint. recs, we can talk.
Fine w/ some tasteful mods but don't want a s/c'd car.
Car must be CLEAN. Not EAG clean, but truly cared for an maintained. Don't want a car that needs a bunch of reconditioning.

Would consider an E90 again, but it would need to be near perfect and tick all the boxes.

I've scoured these classifieds, everything I find is on the wrong coast, has an issue, or something is just not right about it. Or, the seller wants $35k+. Hope the can get it but that's beyond my budget.

No rush on this btw, willing to wait a bit to find the right M3.

Thanks and let me know!

Not sure yet; might keep both, we'll see. Prob doesn't make sense to keep both as at this point, I put maybe 10 miles on the M5 since this virus thing started.

I can certainly recommend that waiting is the best course of action

Since your location is "United States" what would be the wrong coast for you? I'm guessing you are on the East Coast since there are so many cars on the West Coast?

I have this E92 that I bought a few months ago to turn into a track car. I bought from the 2nd owner that brought the car from Canada to Houston. It is not a collector's since it has been repainted due to hail damage, but it's low miles and solid. I intalled an Einsenmann exhaust, but gave up on the track car project as I have a Corvette C6 for the track and with an 8mth son I'm not trcking as much as I would like.

I've been using the M3 as my daily and for weekend drives, which I love, but with the baby I wouldn't mind a 4-door car.

With that said, I would be interested in you M5. DM me if interested. More details about my car below.

I'm considering selling my 08 Interlagos over bamboo 6sp with CF roof. Rod bearings and throttle actuators recently done. 108k miles. It does not have navigation either. Located in Santa Cruz CA. PM me if that seems like a car you would be interested in.

To all those still reaching out - My car is under contract right now and effectively sold.

I've got an 08 Space Grey w/black interior E92 with ~63,300 or so on it. 6 spd, carbon fiber roof, total stripper (only options are EDC and heated seats, I believe), has the 19" wheels. Single hump car. Rod bearings were recently done on the car (within a month).

There is a fair bit of wear in the driver side bolster, and the front bumper has some rock chips, but aside from that the car is perfect. The car also has an eisenmann exhaust on it - I'll probably take it off and install the OEM exhaust unless you really want it.

I'm toying the idea of selling it and my daily for an F80. If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you my number.

Yes, I'm east coast; NC. And BTW - agree 100% on waiting to find "The One".

Man, really close on a lot of cars but for some reason, a lot of people opted for sunroofs on otherwise low-optioned cars...y tho?
