Running two different tire brands?
Should I expect any issues having two different sets of tire brands in my e93 with ZCP wheels?
Front: Michelin Pilot Super Sport - 255/35R19 Rear: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 - 275/35ZR19 |

Those rear Continental DWS tires have no traction. Ran them on my 328i in 265/30/19, and even on that car they would break traction...

If the two different brands are the same performance category and similar compound and treadwear rating, it's not a big deal. I've been running Michelin PSS up front and Pirelli P-Zero out back for the last year+ and even on the track two weeks ago and it's been fine. But as EJT86 pointed out above, mixing high performance summer with high performance all season won't be a good match traction wise.

In general don’t recommend running any differences. The different front and rear could work in some areas, but different tires, even in the same performance category, can react differently to varying road and temp conditions. Wet concrete, cold weather, on ramps and off ramps, emergency maneuvers, etc...
Do it proper and match the tire set |

I am running Continental Extreme Sport in front and Kumho Ecsta Le Sport in rear.Rear tires are 1/2 price of fronts and wear out 3 times faster.Works good if you like to slide car around corners, good front tires for car control and cheap rears for destruction.
