hi i just saw your video. I have a 2010 e92 m3. I dont have the "connectedDrive" option on my idrive. Is there a way i can change that?

Yeah you can but you need a COMBOX retrofit.

bumping this as a suggestion that if you want this to work, ask for eBay gift cards or an older iPhone for Xmas and just have a dedicated track map phone and leave it in the car
