Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

OMG I was thinking of getting another m3 never had a problem with my 08. Now Im a little worried........ Might just have to make the switch to the M4..... I really love the e92 though

Are rod bearings that weak to break at 20k miles?!! Why BMW didn't use better quality for engine worth 25k ?!!

They gave me the copy of the Repair Order without all the cost breakdowns, but a friend of mine is the Service Director there so I glanced at it for a while...$24,000 total for the Repair Order

I've put about 1000 miles on the car with the new engine and no issues.
