Could I throw in a request for the track configuration be 13CW (Buttonwillow Configuration 13 Clockwise)?
yes CW13 would be great

You.

I'm not a fast enough driver to be worrying about times and such right now, so I'll throw out the "seeking driver enjoyment" excuse out there.

Let me double check with my insurance agent if you guys are under that, I'm pretty sure you are. I have General Public Liability (5 million $) and Participant Accident Coverage (20,000$ per person)
I would be interested in this. I paid $155 to cover my car for the June 10th event. Getting a group rate would be awesome. I can't afford a complete write off on this ride.

I'm still figuring out the price. I would say $225-250.

Don't forget, I have alot more expense then a normal track event. Insurance, Ambulance, Tow, 2 Photographers (You get a photo cd at the end), Lap timing, start finisher, 4 corner workers, two real professional drivers, and last but not least, SMALL group of people so you get a SHIT load of track time. Also, weekend rentals cost more.

I'm figuring out a way to make the cost less so bare with me. I hope everyone understands, I don't want people to think I'm ripping them off. Keep in mind, every transaction that goes on, I loose $ on, web hosting fees, web designer, I'm really loosing money on these things but one day I will make it profitable.

PS - I will be giving out coupon codes for early sign ups.

Yes, we are going to be three run groups. There isn't follow the leader, It's just simple rules like don't pass on turns, on the day of we decide if the group is okay with passing (on the straights) (with hand gesture). We really leave it up to everyone in the event (will be discussed at the driver meeting)

Yes, the pro drivers will be doing ride alongs for cheap

We are doing #13 for sure. I'm just going to put a poll for CW or CCW. It's everyone's choice so it's fair.

Did they protect your car if it got wrecked? Who did you use? I'm still speaking to my insurance agent. He said the policy I have right now covers medical, not cars. So I'm doing homework still and figuring it out.

I used http://ontrackinsurance.com/

Clearly price would be more for a new M3. Yes they covered my car in the event of an accident. No liability. $1500 deductible.

A group buy option or umbrella coverage on the event would be nice and something I would certainly shell out for.

With models you'll break 2:00. Easily.

Unless they are naked models. Then you won't even break 5:00.

thats a good deal considering the amount of track time, lack of traffic, PRO instructors and pictures....

your making it too easy for me to run speed district events ONLY hahahha

just for reference: the last track even SD held, I got almost twice as much seat time compared to other track events (other venues) that I've been to.
I would pay the extra amount for just the seat time alone..all those extra goodies are icing on the cake

So I need some feedback from you guys....

I'm thinking of making the sign ups $250. Limiting it to 50 cars. More track time for everyone. Less likely to get into a accident since the track is so spaced out (kind of like a mini insurance policy)

If you guys rather have more cars and pay less, please tell me. I would rather pay another $30-40 to have less people but thats just me)

You can do the math, three run groups. 20 minutes each. We have 8 hours on the track, last time we had people SITTING out from how tired they were from tracking.. I rather be tired from tracking too much then be annoyed that I didn't get enough track time.

Don't forget, I have alot more expense then a normal track event. Insurance, Ambulance, Tow, 2 Photographers (You get a photo cd at the end +$65 value), Lap timing, start finisher, 4 corner workers, two real professional instructors, and last but not least, SMALL group of people so you get a SHIT load of track time. Also, weekend rentals cost more.

PS - I will be giving out coupon codes for early sign ups. (-$30 if you sign up the first 3 days)

Please tell me what you think.
Please be honest!

$250 (starting price) includes timing?

if 250 includes timing, then apply coupon for 220 total for the day with only 50 cars...

i'll be honest..i'm all over that deal!!!!!!!!
