DCT Lag Issue and Classic BMW

Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with getting Classic to address the DCT lag issue, including installing the latest software updates?

I'm about to take in my car for the 15K mile service and wanted to know what to expect.

if a car is due up for a software update, they will automatically do it as part of the service.

If you have the issue, you should complain about it.

I understand that, and I will. There are several users on the M-DCT Lag Issue thread, however, that could not persuade the dealer to update with the latest integration level that, by all counts, improves the lag issue (E89X-10-03-501 or 502), especially those who had previously had the updates prescribed by SIB 28 07 08 or 13 05 08, because apparently this new integration level is not prescribed, in a SIB, as a fix for the DCT lag/delay.

I made my appointment with Chuong Nguyen based on recommendations here, so hopefully he'll take good care of me.

Was your DME updated as part of the DCT software update?

Good to know, thanks. My car is at Classic now; they promised to update with the latest integration level and hopefully that will fix the significant lag I've been experiencing.
