I was at my doctor's office today and he asked me what I drove. Then he asked whether it was manual or automatic.

He then said he used to own a E30 back in the 80's and modded it to be catless, Bilstein shocks, and all that jazz, and should never have sold it.

Lots of people have sold and regretted it years later..probably even at their death bed.

650S has an 8500rpm redline. Seems like nitpicking

If my vote isn't too late, I say keep it if money isn't an issue.

You have already in short said the car is near and dear to you. If that is the case you will in short time regret selling it.

I believe these cars are special too. BMW has never before put an NA V8 in the M3 and never will again. It was a one and done move by BMW. They saw the writing on the wall with turbos and said lets do this while we can.

I'm sure you will find another when you decide you want one again however for the reasons you stated in your post it won't be the same.

KEEP IT

Once I sell the red Trans Am I'm coming back to an M3 6MT. I love my Aston but don't love the TA as much as the M3 so I will be back shortly....very shortly!

I already own a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am (bought last Halloween) and 2017 Range Rover Sport which is a lease.

I found a buyer for my 2013 Jerez Black/Black DCT 49k miles. Wants to come from Michigan on Friday and I am totally on the fence!

Don't say "just sell the TA or the RR". That's not an option right now and the Aston is not going anywhere either! I have about $10k equity in the M3 which sounds appealing.

Do I sell it?? Thinking maybe later I'd go for the manual if I could even find one decent. The problem I have is that my M3 has relatively low miles and in perfect condition and 100% stock!

Will I ever find another? Will I regret it? These cars are out there no doubt but they've been either modded, multiple owners, wrecked, etc...you get it.

I just don't need four cars for just me but I love every one of them for what they are.

Forget the other three cars for a sec. This M3 is near and dear I just need a logical reason to keep it. Offer is $36,500

HELP!!!

This is true. I have an e90 M3 and a 2003 S2000, and I find the S2000 to be much more of a dramatic driving experience even though the M3 can best it in pretty much every category.

Oh, and no reason to sell the Rover. It will just disintegrate all on its own anyway.

The guy is coming to purchase my M3 this Friday from Michigan. And for some reason if he doesn't then I'll keep it.

Do I think the Aston is better than the M3? On many levels no, but I've had three M3's and it's now time to mix it up a little before going back. My ONLY concern is that I won't find one as meticulous as the one I own currently but I'll take that chance. All cars have their share of shit. People can say all day long the Aston will be a maintenance nightmare. Two things to that: 1) the car will probably only be driven 2500 miles per year so I'm really not that concerned 2) If it brakes I can afford it. That goes the same for the M3. That car isn't cheap to fix either and owning four cars is a bit overwhelming.

Both cars are great in their own right for different reasons. IMHO I do believe Aston Martin makes the most beautiful car in the world. Really, I've had so many sports cars I'm sort of immune and don't have to own the fastest one out there. Just something I enjoy driving which has been the M3 and now the Aston but for different reasons.

I will do a comparison once I get to know this car a bit better.

Sounds like you've come to a good decision for you. Agree 4 cars is a lot to deal with. I have three and sometimes feel that is one too many. Plenty of stuff out there I like, but not enough to replace what I have...yet.

Thankfully, the Rover is only a two year lease.

To be honest, I would not sell it. I mean, I have mentioned that the e92 and the e91 m3 are only gaining in price lately, so there is no point in selling the car for 36.000 bucks! Trust me, in case you will keep it for another a couple of years and if it is a good state, with a low mileage, trust me, you will be able to sell it for even more than 55.000 bucks! My brother has recently got a e92 convertible, and he paid 51.000 for it! And you know, it was a damaged Vehicle, he paid 51k for a damaged vehicle that is more than 10 years old!!
