Cars and Coffee Virgina - 458 Italia Speciale accident

Der Benz monster truckin' Speciale. Happened at my local C&C this morning. Mom driver of the Benz went up and over the Speciale while she was attempting to park.

She was trying to back into a parking spot to the left of the Speciale (essentially photog's left)

I think she either thought she was in 'reverse' and/or stepped on the wrong pedal.

I would say that is acceptable behavior for an owner of a 300k vehicle that just got whacked by a big body benz.

Ferrari guy kept his cool. Props to him. I might have just walked up to driver and punched her face in. I definitely would have damaged the drivers door pretty severely.

I think so.

That car's value just tanked almost 100k..

It was sad for all parties involved.

I was curious how many *parking* accidents happen at Cars and Coffee events (we all know about exuberant exits).

So when googling around, it looks like this is Katie’s Cars & Coffee? Looks like a couple years earlier another 458 was totaled on the highway (same day as event):

Seems like the Ferraris have been having a rough go of it as of late. Not sure if this is a repost....I'm betting someone's insurance is going to go up *quite* a bit.

Yes this was at Katie's Cars and Coffee. This event regularly has 100+ cars show up every Saturday. Sometimes it gets to be a bit of a clusterfuk but I have yet to see an accident in the parking lot in the few years I have been attending.
