Do NOT download Turbo Tax

I have spent several hours tonight trying to get it to work.

I would always get a pop up that says were sorry, turbo tax must close!

I started out using their chat line with someone that was probably in India. Each reply took several minutes round trip. They had me uninstall and re-down load the program and uninstall microsoft .net framework 2.0. Then re-install both. Still would not work.

I got completely screwed by them when the did the copy protection 2 or 3 years ago and I was not even trying to cheat or steal it or anything.

I will never use another intuit product.

I will try the h&r block product.

lol. Why not just use the online turbo tax... it is pretty much the same thing.

I did my taxes last week on TT and already got both of my refunds

I will definitely use it again!

You are complaining about 2-3 hours of work, tech support from India, and it still not working and you say you will never use it again?

May I ask why you are still using Windows then cause I am sure it is more of a pain than that!

Why would you download Turbo Tax? like said above^ use the online one.. it's free (tricky) I used it for the first time last week. was good!

it's free and i did a paper comparison vs H&R

got an extra $1 that H&R found

Actually it is free every single time.

They try and get you to use their consulting and they "audit protection" which costs money. You don't have to though but that is probably how they make the profit.

All you have to pay is the fee to electronically file the fed and state.
