Reset brake service interval
I would get the occasional light on my dash of the car on a lift in yellow. So I took my Carley app and tried to reset all of the service intervals such as oil and brakes. But once I reset my brake service light now I have the red brake light lit up on my dash as well as the car on lift in red. Anyone run into this? Do I need to replace my pad sensors now?

If you haven't replaced the sensors after changing brakes, do it. The car knows if the sensor has been replaced. If you try to reset it without changing the sensor, it will say the brake service is due now as you are seeing.

I haven't changed my rear brakes or sensors at all. I did a Brembo kit in the front and just tied up the old sensors, none of which were worn down. Thanks for all the help guys. I'll try to reset on the clusters.

I have my sensors tied up and not in the pad. But to make the light go away, I tried unplugging and replugging to reset, tried resetting normally and a few other ways. The only way that worked for me is replacing the sensor with a new one and then resetting. Resetting without changing the sensor just made it worse.

You can’t just tie up the sensor. You must connect the two wires in its cable together. Or fashion a tiny metal U like a small paper clip and insert it into the holes in the car end of the harness.
