Real estate has been the most fruitful to me. They money is made in the buy, not the selling though.

I am mechanically inclined, much like most of you on the forums. I am actively looking for machines that can produce continuous revenue. My thoughts are around buying a power generating equipment, either developing/maintaining or buying existing/maintaining. Think it would be nice to apply my mechanical inclination to an asset that generates cash. As a general rule to thumb, power generating assets produce 10x the revenue as real estate, assuming your buying to rent. I also think dealing with the grid maybe easier than renters (sometimes).
