POV Shipping Military vs BMW

I purchased my M3 through Pentagon Car Sales a few years ago and now I'm due to return to the states. I'm weighing the options of the BMW Home program or the military POV shipping. Has anyone shipped their BMW through the military shipping contract? If I ship through them would I be able to avoid the port tax and other fees that people get dinged on with the BMW program?

If you ship on orders you don't pay the fees.

when I return back to the states, should I use the military to ship my modded POV to go through us customs and have my stock US family van be paid out of my pocket so I have no issues with that going through customs?

Everything is free until you hit the US. Depending on the state you plan to register, prepare for some out of pockets expenses. Mine was $1,500 in NM- taxes.

What if it’s your POV that you bought stateside, it’s paid off, shipped it to oconus, shipped it back to conus, say WA state
I’m just paying DMV registration? No sales tax since its paid off?

Since it was registered in the US before, you will be OK.
