Reduced power already

I have hit a thousand running in miles and today I have the reduced engine power fault on the idrive is this a bad omen ?

Yes! Did you keep under 5500 rpm and 105 miles. ?

Yes sure only seen 6k by accident a few times and have kept it at 105 max

i didn't keep it under 55 or 5500 rpm.i have 4500 miles not one problem knock on wood.

No, pretty sure its just your idle control valve.
