Car Covers?

So in the past I've had bad luck with aftermarket car covers scratching up paint . I just got my flawless E92 M3 and would like to keep it that way. I live in NY and as you know North East weather sucks during the winter time. I dont have a garage but I do have a big driveway. That being said is there a good car cover with a soft inside layer that wouldn't scratch up the paint on the car when it is parked outside during winter?

I don't know if it's any good, but this could be an option if you have the space: http://carcapsule.com/

I don't dare to think on the situation with the car capsule when a storm hits NY .

They have an outdoor model. I don't know anything about them other than they exist.

This is my dilemma...i think the car would just be safer parked in the driveway with nothing over it

Maybe a good alternative like the Sonax Polymer Netshield .
Up to 6 months of protection , and protects even against roadsalt .
Here is more => http://www.autogeek.net/sonax-polymer-net-shield.html
But the best thing is of course a garage , mine is actually a garage queen on a battery tender !

Hi Daon, tend to agree with the guys. Putting a cover on I'd say require an absolute clean paint to not cause mini scratches or worse. And obviously the only time then would be immediately after cleaning the car which basically is not possible assuming you don't live very close by one.

I'd go with protection, and clean the car very regulary instead.

Cheers
