FG400 and Sonix PF or Menzerna SF4000?

Ordered some Menzerna FG400 due to water spots. That said, what should I go with for the polish, Sonix Perfect Finish or Menzerna SF4000?

Lastly, what pad color for each, was looking at Chemical Guys BUFX_101HEX5
Orange for the FG400??
Blue for Sonix/Menzerna??

Thanks

If the car is not too bad I use Green then Blue pad and final with blue. Then wax with Black pad.
The Orange pad is used on older cars that need more cut.
If just water spots You can probably skip the FG and just use the SF. I personally use Sonax Nano I think it is a 2/6. It has been replaced with perfect finish possibly. You wont go wrong with either really.
Check out the Auto Finesse Triple also, used it a few times now and it is very good for just minor "shining up"

I would go with Menzerna sf4000 and a Lake Country white polishing pad. For the FG400, use an orange cutting pad. FG400 and SF4000 work great together. Always use the least aggressive method first. Has the car been clayed at all yet?

Are you doing a manual clay or using a Nanoskin pad?

Ever since I bought the skin pad I have thrown all the clay bars away. Many times I just use it in my hand and not on the DA. Works really well with the Glide Solution

I'm starting to build out a little detailing arsenal. I've noticed that A/W doesn't do so well with 100 CEL cats. I tried some manual claying this weekend and after 2 hrs, a 2x2 section was the only thing thoroughly cleaned. After calculating how much time I was going to be wasting doing the *rest* of the rear end, I ended up getting a Nanoskin + Glide + a 6" random orbital DA. Picked up some other things as well, but yah....I'm done w/clay bars unless the DA can't reach it.
