So I'm lowering my E90 M3 on Swift springs

I'm waiting on getting my TE37SLs
19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +22

Would I be okay with running 255/35 up front or do I have to run 265/30?

I currently have a new set of 285/30 for the rears. Only reason I want to run 255/35 is because the continentals that I have aren't made in a 265/30.

Any help would be appreciated.

255/35/19 shouldn't be a problem at all. I run it on like offsets on 9" wheel without any trouble.

I went with Continental DWS06 in 265-285/30/19. I realized I was kinda rubbing at full lock at stock height with 255/35/19

I'm not sure if spacers would work in this application. They would likely remedy the contact with the suspension, but could introduce fender rub. I did not want to mess with spacers so I just decided to keep running the R888Rs.

FYI– for the 275/35/18 tires the section width of the R888Rs is 10.9" and for the RT660s it is 11.2".

Not to bump this super old post but.... I have the following on my car currently (stock ride height/suspension):
FRONT: 265/30/19 AD08Rs on 19x10 +25 VMR V710s
REAR: 295/30/19 AD08Rs on 19x11 +25 VMR V710s

No rubbing on the above. Had 305/30/19 AD08Rs on the rear in the past but they'd rub on bumps at speed. 295s fixed that completely.

The fronts are rubber band-y and I would like the added tiny bit of sidewall plus width if I got the following:
FRONT: 275/30/19 AD08Rs on 19x10 +25 VMR V710s
REAR: 295/30/19 AD08Rs on 19x11 +25 VMR V710s

Will the 275 fronts in an AD08R on a stock suspension rub? I know AD08Rs run wide.

I see a lot of mixed reviews on 255/35/19 Fronts rubbing for some.
I’m running 19x9.5 ET 22 looking to see if anyone is running the same or can confirm clearance. I’m lowered and running -3 camber if that matters

Hi guys,
So I’ve gone through the thread. I’ve got zcp reps (same specs as genuine wheels) with 15mm spacers on. Can I use a 275/35/19 rear tyre without rubbing on the track? Or is there a better size option?

^ I would probably stick with 12m. I think 15mm might rub over large bumps.

Hey so I'm on kw v3s on lowest setting running -2 camber in the front with a 12mm spacers and I'm rubbing on the liner when I turn(top and behind the wheel on sharper turns). Tires are 245/35/19 hankook ventus v12 evo2 on stock zcp wheels. Any suggestions as to what I can do to alleviate it? Would camber plates and more camber do it?

Hey guys really need some help here.

I have a 19x10.5 et 26 rear wheel

I ordered a Toyo r888r 285/35/19 for it. It was way too big.

Will Toyo r888r 265/35/19 work with my wheel size and offset?

Lowered on BC coil overs

Want a meaty tire on the back

I got 305/30/19 on the rear with 22 offset.
But I am only 10mm lower than ZCP and on stiff spring. So the 305 might be too tall for you. The 295/30/19 is a good option.

I'm only looking for a 35 option. I want a meatier tire

This was a 285/35/19 r888r

Looking to see if a 265/35/19 toyo r888r will fit

You can go with 275/35/19 in the rear.

Oh it'll clear. But it'll just look silly. My tire and alignment guy said it can work. Just have to raise up the rear a ton.

Also have to raise up the front too or else it'll look raked and like a drag car 🤣

Right now I'm debating between 265/35/19 r888r or 295/30/19 r888r

Any reason for R888R?
When I tried it, it wasn't faster or last longer than much cheaper tires.

It looks fast though

Would like to have more traction. Not worried about how long they last. My m3 is no longer my daily driver
