We can retrofit this is any 2009+ 3-, 1- or X-series as well as in the 2005-2010 5 series.
It requires the CIC, the Combox and the Internet enabled mobile phone supported by BMW.

Thanks.
As stated in the Press Release above, BMW Live -and thus BMW Online- are not available in the USA or in Canada as a factory-installed feature or as an OEM retrofit. Therefore your M3 will have none available "natively".

Nevertheless, both features can be added to your car by contacting the vendor in the very first thread.

Thank you.

Can you explain to me what the two different options are price wise? I spoke with Alekshop and he had two prices. But couldnt explain to me what the differences are.

And by doing this, do I loose anything? I thought I read I loose BWM SOS, but get BMW live instead?

This is all so confusing...

Thank you!!!

Thanks Technic, exactly what I was looking for. I missed that bit in the press release obviously. Now the question stands, when is Bimmertech going to visit Toronto or at least somewhere close!

Hey Patryk,

Does this firmware update also means 6NR (BMW Apps, BMW Plugin and Video Playback) for pre-LCI 5 Series? If so, I definitely what it!!!!!

I emailed him yesterday with my VIN. Haven't heard anything yet. An hour install is definitely doable.
