+battery cable/fuse box recall fixed. (No power issue)
What's up gang!
I finally fixed my +battery terminal issue. I was having the problem where I would try to get in my car and everything would be dead. If I had the alarm set, the damn thing would go off until I was able to open my glove box and wiggle the wire around. There has been a lot of great information written about this problem here -http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=549735 Also a really great step by step how too. My situation didn't involve having to buy a new fuse box. It seems like a lot of people are buying the cable and box together. I'd suggest checking out your box and seeing if you need to replace both. I only needed to replace the cable. ALSO, most people are splicing the cable at the fuse box. I'd suggest running the wire yourself to the battery. Its not as hard as all the hype claimed. BMW says you need to remove the seat and that's NOT TRUE. Check out the link for the written how too and check out this poorly made video on my experience etc and where to run the wire so you don't have to splice the cable. I hope this helps!

I had mine done at the dealer 3 weeks ago. Anyone know if the passenger side of the dash would have to be removed? My cup holder was broken when I got the car back.
