help needed LCI tail light

What's up, when installing the LCI tail lights to a 2008 e92 will I need to update the FRM as well? I'm getting mixed answers. Has anyone done the swap with out the updated FRM module?

No need to update the module, based on many 08 swaps. You will need a software update though.

Just install than get them coded so they won't flicker
