The guys who did my cat delete jigged the system off the car then cut and replaced one pipe at a time with neat butt welds. Horses for courses I guess

I ended up delteing my resonators...not the cats. Still have the stock exhaust.

IMHO, it did not make a lot of difference in sound. It is slightly more raspy, but really not a big difference at all.

I felt no difference in power at all. Hell, they are basically just a straight pipe with some hole in the walls for baffling sound. No restriction for flow in them, so I would not expect any hp gain or loss.

I surprised, from the first couple of videos I noticed a good difference in sound. I'm going to do the resonator delete as soon as I have some free time on my hands.

Well i deleted my reso the sound is only diffrent when you start it while its cold when it heats its blubs a bit but when you rev it upto the max RPM oh my god its not soo loud but it sounds amaizing

Regarding power ive got no dyno numbers put i feel the car is a bit faster no in the means that i feel it but when racing with freinds before and after but the diffrence in power wont show directly but after a while of abuusing

check the video maybe you will get a feeling about how would it sound without reso's .

I recently had both resonators and secondary cats removed with a x pipe replacement. I also have magnaflow mufflers on it. I think it sounds amazing. I dont have a video camera or I would post videos. It sounds almost as good as my old gt3 did with bypass pipes

there is slight drone at low rpms. Size of the tubing for x pipe is 3 inches. Its a custom made x pipe not just straight pipe. If anybody in the northern bay area has a video camera and little time Im willing to meet up and take some videos

I saw the correct video (straight pipes with Magnaflow tips in an E90) somewhere, but I can't find it now.
