*update 18 Feb 2013

so fedex came by today....

courtesy of Greg @ GT Motoring, wonderfully packaged

yup, no damage

out with the old, in with the new

front (needs moar low?)

rear, sitting pretty

mmmmm..... dish......

here's one of the whole car

wanna see how long I last on the eibach springs before succumbing to coilovers, probably bilstein PSS10

update:

just got my BILSTEIN PSS10 installed!

update 5 May 2013

so i got myself a set of 18" TE37SL (pressed graphite) wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265/35/18 and 285/35/18 for track use. I decided to go with the PSS cos the track is a 3 hr drive away and I don't wanna lug up semi slicks or make the drive in semi slicks. This way I can still have fun if it rains (it rains here a lot).

Of course, once my LM-Rs were off I started looking at my rusty hubs and decided to do something about them.

Bought this wire brush attachment for my dremel and went to work

After scrubbing off most of the loose rust

sprayed a couple coats of anti corrosion paint (primer grey colour)

this is what it looks like with the wheel attached

After I did this one hub, i didn't really like the grey colour on the inner hub, so I mounted the next wheel on after removing the rust but without spraying

Looks better!

However, TODAY after a day of rain all 3 hubs without the paint have started rusting again! Im gonna get some anti corrosion spray in flat black and hope that works out better aesthetically.

enjoy some bad iPhone pics after the rain!

I'm leaving the rear height as in but gonna lower the fronts just a touch more.

no rubbing whatsoever with these wheel and tire specs.

UPDATE 9 MAY 2013

fitted a Bride Zeta III Type L today, excuse the pics, by the time i finished messing around with it, it's dark out.

fitted using the following hardware:

Macht Schnell - E9x Competition Liteweight Mounts for Race Seats
http://www.gtmotoring.com/product_in...roducts_id=685" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.gtmotorin...cts_id=685</a>

Recaro - Slider Track Kit Inside Bar
http://www.gtmotoring.com/product_in...roducts_id=690" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.gtmotorin...cts_id=690</a>

Recaro - Bucket Seat, Side Mount, Black Steel FIA
http://www.gtmotoring.com/product_in...roducts_id=691" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.gtmotorin...cts_id=691</a>

Macht Schnell - Seatbelt Receptacle/Harness Mount
http://www.gtmotoring.com/product_in...oducts_id=1692" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://www.gtmotorin...ts_id=1692</a>

I know it's looking a mess right now with the RECARO and MACHT SCHNELL logos. I've got a full BRIDE mounting kit on order.

Unfortunately I assumed the hardware I ordered would fit the BRIDE seat but it doesn't. They were made to fit the RECARO POLE POSITION seat which is a fair bit wider than the BRIDE (430mm vs 395mm). I was unable to fit the RECARO slider as the bar in the middle which you use to slide back and forth was loo long. For the time being I mounted the seat in a fixed position until the proper BRIDE hardware arrives.

UPDATE 23 MAY 2013

Some pics from last weekend's ZEROTOHUNDRED'S TIMETOATTACK 2013 - ROUND 1 at Sepang International Circuit.

Managed 3rd place in GT cars category.

13 Aug 2013
some random shots from the track

8 Nov 2013 update

Installed the APR splitter from Vivid racing, managed to go on nicely below the OEM splitters without any modifications. I don't like the connecting rods, but you really do need them there if you want to avoid any highway ACCIDENTS with the splitter flying under the car. it's bolted in pretty good but the front part needs the support of the rods due to additional downforce.

here are some pics.

22 Feb 2014

got a few PMs asking about the fitment of the replica ARKYM lip from JL Motoring.

It's a good fit and quality is decent. Obviously I don't yet have the original ARKYM items to compare to but it's a very decent product FOR A REPLICA.

Please bear in mind that when buying replica products its pretty much hit or miss and I think I lucked out on the front lip as the QC on these items are iffy at best. As an example, I also bought a Hamann replica rear diffuser from the same supplier, and while the fitment was good, the actual quality of the piece was pretty shocking. The CF weave and clear coat wasn't done properly, and there were bubbles. I have since thrown that away and ordered the full ARKYM front + rear combo from PYspeed who gave me a pretty decent deal with shipping.

Yup saw ur car in the thread requesting pics for lips on blue M3. Same wheels same lip same colour.

Can't wait to get the ARKYM front + rear on!!!

I'm totally in love with HRE P40SC but can't justify the cost for something looking so similar to the CH-Rs

Very nice. I would like a front lip like that but I am too afraid I'd scrape going up a driveway or over a speed bump.
