Nice!

Just have them sign up before the 31st!

otherwise price will go from 105 to 130, which is about the cost of gas for the track lol

Peeping toms are allowed.

not sure if you'd want to spend the registration fee plus gas..

but you're welcome to come and watch

there's a $10 per person gate fee

depending on when I get the car, and how many days I have to break in, and when I can schedule the 1200 mile service, I'll have to think about this..

damn that audi!.. was it the S5? I'm gonna have to do 20 mph then.

Well, I feel we could run intermediate considering how we are passing everyone.. but I feel more comfortable in the beginner group

less competitive motives

I want to build technique and skill rather than just drive fast

Rock chips..mask the front end with painters tape

Roll overs? Not racing for trophies or prize money,so I drive within my limits and keep it on the tarmac.

I initially wrapped the front of the car w/ Road Wrap (sort of like sandwich plastic wrap, except for cars) and it looked so dang ugly, I removed it and just covered the headlights w/ painter's tape, lulz. Many others covered the entire front w/ painter's tape. Anyhow, no rock chip on this outing for me.

Re: rolling your car, just don't push it beyond your comfort level.

Same here. Plus, in the beginners group this past Sunday, there were other cars/drivers that clearly could be or should have been in the intermediate group.

Oh, I'm sure, since that front straightaway is downhill in CCW config. CW, going up, you get to about 110mph. Going CCW, downhill, I bet 125 to 130mph.
