Other than the lowered ride height, looks like it's just cosmetics, plus availability of Dakar which is a love it or hate it color. No doubt will add some ridiculous amount ($3,500?) to the sticker. BFD.
My guess is it will not even be offered in the US, as my understanding is every color leather interior needs to be separately crash tested. Thank you, bureaucrats.

I wish I was, and I hope I am wrong, but that is my understanding. I've seen this on other boards where folks were wondering why certain BMW Individual interior choices were not available inthe US on a special order basis.

Seriously....and a 10mm drop, please please, i want a .4 inch drop. Besides the dakar yellow, why would anyone really want this, you can save the premium it costs to get this "enhanced" version for better cosmetics or almost a new set of awesome wheels. come on BMW what are you thinking....

I guess deciding between Dakar Yellow and Laguna Seca Blue was a tough choice for BMW.

Looks nice but I bet it will be pricey. Maybe $3-4k option plus dealer will probably not discount as much so it may end up costing you $6-7k vs a standard car (that's a lot of mod money). lf avaliable in US at all...

Speaking of Laguna Seca Blue - Long Beach BMW has the only one when I was there last weekend, they said they contacted BMW directly and BMW gave them the ok to go ahead and produce this color - I think the price for the car was $78k!

OK, so here we are Mr Marketing guys!! Now we need the "special super duper Collector edition' s rarity effect" to push the M out the dealers' lots?!?!?
If they would focus on what's under the hood and on the scale... that would be much better! Did they ever have special editions in the past (besides CSL & Lightweight)??
