Modifying BW xpipe
On my first M3 I had BWs catless xpipe with resonators paired to a GT2. It sounded fantastic and it was loud. This time I want loud but not as loud and no smell.
Now I have this BW xpipe that's full straight piped. I bought 2 12" Vibrant resonators (use them on my Abarth and it sounds great) and 2 4" HJS 200cel cats. My plan was to build a system that has the relocated X with less drone and no scent. It'll be paired to Eisenmann Race. After lining it up I'm not sure it'll all fit. I'll still take it to a shop to see what they say but does anyone else here have some ideas in case it doesn't work? My back up plan is the Challenge Sport xpipe.

for the sake of space you may have to put the cats in the primary position, the resonators will go at the rear.

I would first try to mount only the cats, if later it still sounds very loud I would add the resonators

I'm not sure of the dimensions of your HJS HFCs, but I believe there have been members that have installed Magnaflow HFCs (59956 / 4" body width, 8" body length) in the secondary position with Vibrant 12" resonators mounted at the rear.
Assuming the HJS HFCs have similar dimensions as the Magnaflows, I think you should be fine. |

Still trying to find a shop that I can trust to do it. Most places around here are typical muffler chop shops and I've seen those welds.
Going to target after the x, but worst case will do in the primary location. Didn't think of that earlier for some reason. Will update with how it turned out after
