IPE Exhaust

Got my 2012 E92 M3 couple of month ago with full IPE installed(catless), switched to original x-pipe because I have to go to school, I don't wanna be so loud...Now I am considering selling the ipe x-pipe, I think it`s pretty new cuz I got my car with less than 10k miles on it and I changed the x-pipe as soon as I got it. My question is, will there be anyone that are willing to buy it? As far as I see, it was too loud and makes a lot of smoke...How much am I gonna get if I sell the whole exhaust system?

I'd guess about tree fiddy.

Research in the private sale section of the forum. You should get an idea from other sale prices. Cheers.

Dose it have the remote(s) to open&close the exhaust?

I'm a little surprised to hear that it's too loud? So I'm thinking you don't have the remote(s) to close it.

I don't have the remote but there`s a control box to switch on/off the valve.

Yeah! But without the remote(s)? You can not fully close the valves. It stays in "auto mode" which means that when you hit the RPM it is set to? The valves will open up.
Which makes me to believe why you say it's too loud!
When the valves are "off" the sound is really close to the stock exhaust.

When you say "control box" do you mean a switch that's inside the car? Or a black box that you have to unplug?

You should talk to who ever that sold you the car about any extra remotes left behind for that car? Or can get in contact with the previous owner.
You can also get in contact with IPE about getting a replacement remote or just sell the thing, and let the buyer worry about it :

I didn't know it comes with a remote, as soon as I noticed this, The dealer said that it is missing, they can't find it. I was pissed off with the noise and the gas smell(because it's catless), so I bought an OME x-pipe from M3Post, and it works surprisingly fine.
Yeah it's a control box inside the car, I think I am OK with the sound now, I can fully close the valve, and when I open it, it sounds good, the only reason I am selling it is that I am thinking about selling my car.

Is it still available? How much do you think you could do for the whole system?
