I have been watching these since your first video on them

What is the suggested spring combo and camber plate setup that you go with ?

My use case is 80% street driving with nice back roads and 20% track days with my father.

Its either these or the B16 coilovers that keep the EDC system I love so much

For a dedicated road car it's really the best setup we've found whilst retaining EDC.

Imran,

How do these compare to the Bilstein B16 EDC coilovers? I'm running them I'm on my car and they are nice, but I feel a little harsh over low speed bumps. Have you guys had much any experience with them and can compare to your setup?

Thanks!

Also for Camber Plates, I'm assuming you'd get ones that specify the stock spring inner diameters for the MSS kit?

B16 Damptronic is biased towards performance over comfort. I do not know if Bilstein runs higher gas pressure (to prevent cavitation/vacuum from developing in a monotube damper on the two sides of the piston valve stack) in their higher performance dampers which can contribute to harshness especially on small bumps when traveling slowly. This is primarily due to the gas pressure which prevents the compression motion of the piston rod until the gas pressure force is exceeded. The B6 Damptronic should have improved ride quality relative to the B16 Damptronic. In the Evolve/Bilstein B6 Damptronic, it sounds like they reduced damping in the comfort mode and increased damping in sport relative to the B6 Damptronic. So the Evolve/Bilstein B6 Damptronic should have better street manners than the B16 Damptronic. I’d strongly recommend resetting the EDC damper running time compensation (min damping is increased with time/mileage). You should try this on your B16 Damptronic before switching to a B6 Damptronic version.

Correct. You’d want a camber plate that works with stock spring diameter.

We haven't compared them directly, but they should have a little better street manners compared to the B16.

Camber plates any that are suitable for stock damper/spring will work with these and the MSS. On our own car we used Millway ones.
