From what I understand, 103dB at Road America is a lot easier to get to than 103dB in a dusty concrete canyon like seca. Those trees help a lot. Spec Wreckers are basically unmuffled and don't usually blow over 100 there

its an ap radical caliper. looks like the rotors are 378mm, so probably pairable with the same calipers that essex fits. you might be able to get the oem rotors and calipers by the part numbers as they are likely off the shelf ap parts, but the hats are going to be damn near impossible to source.

just get the essex radical kit and call it good.

Finally put the stock tune back in my car and the knock is gone. So good to resolve it and bad the tune is kinda a no-go.

From this picture, I'd say it's some earlier form of Radi-Cal.

Perhaps Essex can shed some light on it. They are very friendly. Try contacting them. Otherwise, I think it will be hard to find part numbers for pieces only sold onto pure race cars 10 years ago.

I thought the more sensitive term was "Spec Piñata"?

We have to use the north of the border wall term from now on.

So the new Mustang Shelby GT500 looks a great as an E92 M3 replacement and it has a DCT option as well. I've never been interested in domestic cars but the specs are pretty compelling. There isn't much information on the next version of the M3/M4, but I bet it'll be a "335+" model like the current generation. That's not interesting to me at all, even though the possibility of a European Delivery is a selling point.

Apart from one highly prepped Mustang, I've never seen one last a whole track day so it'll be interesting to see how 700 hp and its alleged cooling upgrades hold up.

They make a track mustang now. Should last more than a whole track day. It revs to 8000 too.

I've never been a Mustang guy, at all, but the new GT500 is starting to rustle my jimmies.

going back to NT01....let's see how it plays out next week

the new american cars for the past few years have been pretty awesome. I'd have to redo the whole interior though with new seats, steering wheel, alcantara bits of the dash, and use an Aim display or something lol

Depends where the measure. It will be tough if they measure before/after T5 or between the kink and T14.

I didn't know RA had a noise restriction. That's weird because it's in the middle of a forest and the nearest town is all about RA.

The Milwaukee Mile is literally in the middle of Milwaukee with houses across the street. I ran my E46 there with a BW race exhaust a couple of years ago.

If you look close enough, you can see houses and a traffic light outside of the billboards.

This guy. First the wing-wang removal, now backing down on tire compound.

I also de-modded but very minor stuff, like taking off front lip and sideskirt extensions which just add weight.

I haven't seen any GT350Rs which are supposed to have upgraded cooling components, but the GT350s are the ones I saw that couldn't make a full day for whatever reason. Granted, some of them may not have been due to breakdowns.

when does the roval start? you definitely won't be carrying 120. even if it says 100mph on your speedo, it's really like 90ish. and without throttling through it, and just slowing down, tire wear will be minimal, maybe like being on a long on-ramp or something.

That is what I was thinking as well.

Like compared to a road course track day this will just be a spirited driving weekends worth of wear I feel?
