Billet S65 Oil Filter Cap

I am replacing my f30 N55 plastic oil filter cap with a Burger Motorsports billet aluminum unit. It comes in black, blue, and red. Gorgeous piece of metal.

https://burgertuning.com/collections...20-bmw-engines

I was temped to get the anodized blue cap, since my car is an Estoril Blue M-Sport, but resisted. I am getting the engine cover painted to match the body color next year, so it would have looked good.

I wanted to replace my e90 M3 S65 V8 oil filter cap with a billet piece, but can't find a vendor who makes one.

Anyone know where I can find a billet M3 S65 V8 oil filter cap?

Cheers

Could PM this guy and see if he’d be interested in making S65 parts.

Stay in BMW Motorsport tradition with a black plastic cap. Get the E46 M3 oil cap, it has an M logo with a larger seal.

He's talking about the oil filter cap.

FWIW, I reached out to M Clunk on M3F about making S65 caps and he's looking into it.

Thanks...

Studying the ZCP Suspension Thread (Shock, Struts, Spring). Great Job.
ZCP e90 Springs might be hard to get. Dang.

You could trade that overpriced and trouble prone BMW Motorsport M3 for a reasonably priced and reliable Japanese car, and have your choice of colors and materials for caps and covers and such under the hood.

Thanks Lee!! Very nice hunk of aluminum.

The Burger Motorsports F30 N55 billet oil cap is beefier and more high tech looking.
I just have to get rid of the ECS Logo with some solvent.

Cheers

I read people having problems with ECS oil filler caps on the N5x E9x. I'm just gonna stick with my plastic cap lol

Installed mine a few days ago. Hand tightened it with hands then made sure it was snug with a ratchet. No leaks and it looks good.
