When was the last time you looked behind your rear license plate?

We typically don't look behind our rear license plate until we buy or sell a car or if the jenky BMW plastic plate holder disintegrates. BMW uses a one size fits all plate holder that breaks down in hot climates.

I had heard that Rogue Engineering had made an over the top rear license plate holder so I bought one and its bad ass.

Its a CNC billet frame that is really nicely made. I will be picking one up for my wagon next.

The coolness factor alone probably makes the car faster

Any rattling? What's the protection to the paint like?

No rattling, there are nice, thick rubber grommets on the back side to protect the paint. RE overengineers everything they make.

1-2 times a year, during detail. I had it off yesterday to wash, clay & seal.

Was your trunk lid repainted... I don't see the VIN sticker behind the plate.

yes. bumper got hit lightly and had to be replaced. Since its as pearl they had to do a lot of blending
