I strongly recommend the GC set as they come with dust covers, so for a car that sees street use, they are much better.

I had the GC rear arms + full SPL up front on my M3 track build. If I were to do it again (which I will be soon), I'll do the GC rear arms and do just the monoball front bushing, use both stock arms and just do a bump steer tie rod end.

Not sure about the AKG SF bushings. Maybe due to improper installation?
For your GC rear arms, what did you do about the rear headlight leveler? Doesn't look like there is a spot on the GC arm to attach the sensor to?

SPL arms have the provision for the headlight leveler.

Oh nice.

I think I’m leaning towards GC rear arms, but not sure if those have provision for it.

Doesn't the headlight sensor connect to the spring arm?
It's been a while since I've been under an E92, but that's how I remember it. Unless it's only like that on F82

OMG... I totally forgot about that. Oops my bad. Just checked it on the car and you are correct. The rear headlight leveler is attached to the spring arm.

For the front thrust arm monoball, are the GAS and BW one pretty much the same? Or is there one that is better than the other?

The dust boots are big reason. They go a long way to help increase longevity of the ball joints by keeping dust, debris, etc. out of them. I used the full SPL front arms on my car, so I'm familiar with the SPL parts and their quality - which is good. So are the GC arms, and they offer much better value imo at $850/set vs. $1350/set from SPL.
I had used the GC arms on a 1 series build prior, so I was familiar with the product and very happy with the quality of the pieces so I bought them again for the M3 I built, and will go with them again on the new M3
Hey,

Question about your GC rear arms. Did those come with a tapered end for the wheel carrier side? I think GC may have sent me the wrong ball joints. For one, they are too narrow for the subframe side that there is an 8mm gap. Also on the wheel carrier side there is the ball joint are not tapered, so I don't see how it can properly fit.

I have a brand new set of BW front monoballs still in the BW shipping box. I’d be willing to sale them if you’re interested. Had to sell the car before installing them due to medical issues

Mine all came with tapered washers. If yours didn't, contact GC.

Yeah mine definitely didn't have that.

Sorry to hear that and thanks for the offer, but I've already bought the GAS monoball on BF sale.

That should solve your issue then. Have GC send you some. Did you purchase it through them direct?

That sucks. Can’t. Believe they forgot to send the tapered washers. But they did expedited them to me.
