On the topic of refinishing 359s...a friend had a similar idea but decided to go with a satin finished (Porsche's is glossy) and a hair of a shade darker.

One picture has a test sample showing both right next to each other. Porsche on bottom, his final product on the top. Crazy how much they change with lighting. Wheels are Apex ARC-8, so a similar design to the 359s.

I've been considering the Gen 2 Raptor, but that exhaust note and some of the quality control issues have held me back. Hopefully a lot of them have been sorted out in the 3rd year of production. At least it doesn't sound like the F8X fart box

Gen 2's are really great trucks, and look amazing. To me personally, I prefer V8 in my truck, and the premium that the Gen 2's are going for wasn't worth it to me. But they are really fantastic trucks, so you can't go wrong.

I don't track at all but it feels great. 10mm spacer tear with 275/35 fits damn near perfect with no issues. 265/35 rub very slightly when making tight turns on inclines
