Looking for Superchargers in CO

Can anyone who is currently running ESS superchargers tell me if they got them done in CO? I am in the process of buying a 09' M3 and want to get it done. Thanks.

JABSprings has an ESS 650 kit that I installed in Colorado Springs. I'm familiar with most kits, PM me if interested in details of installation, performance etc.

Thanks Milehigh. I do have a question. I talked to a friend who told me he had a guy. I am curious if you are that "guy". He has a E46 that has the AA supercharger on it. His guy put it in and did an awesome job. Do you happen to work at a dealership?

Thanks.

It sounds like I am that guy, and I do work at a dealership. Shoot me a PM with any questions or details you'd like to know about the car and/or kits.

Thanks. Will do. Was pretty much planning on going with ESS but talking to Josh, might just go with AA. Need to get the car first. Just got rid of the porsche yesterday. Now looking for a E90 M3.

Both kits perform well, but have different approaches to making power. There are pros and cons to each and I've installed both. What power level are you looking to achieve?

Been looking at the ESS 625 or AA kit gen 2 level 2. How do you feel about DD a m3 with either kit? Well when it's not snowing.

Out of curiosity, why are you advertising an Evolve tune with it?

Because that's the route I wanted to take. Full custom tuning opposed to standard out of the box. Not knocking that route, just personal preference.

The other benefit for me was a discount for purchasing two tunes at once. If I sell the blower without the tune, I'll set it as custom tuning for a NA or SC M3..

You're saying Evolve agreed to tune a ESS car?

Yes. This would not be their first time and I would not have purchased tuning first and then asked.

Feel free to contact Sal @ Evolve for confirmation.

I believe you, I just thought that topic was frowned upon. Notice I'm not posting in your for sale thread because I don't want to stir up anything in the main for sale section. I'm just curious since you posted it here, that's all. GLWS btw

Between vendors, it's always a battle on who's best, I completely agree.

Thanks! Note that I'm also selling it separate from the tune if an interested party would like. No difference to me really.

Wanted to bring this topic back. After this weekend I wanted to see who here in Colorado had a S/C on their E9X and their impressions.

I have a ESS 550 kit with a smaller pulley to compensate for the high altitude. I love the blower, very reliable and no issues with the car. The car drives normal until you step on it which then it turns into a beast. Well worth the expense but be very meticulous with maintenance which is a must if you own a SC M3.

If you're running the 550 kit, are you having any issues regarding cooling? This is a sticking point between the 550 and the 595 for me. One having an inter cooler.

Nope, no issues. However, I only drive the M3 on the street with an occasional driving school event. I don't track the car.

E90 Supercharged in Denver

Posting a reply to refresh this thread. I have an 08 m3 convertible and looking to supercharge. Interested in what folks are running for SC here in Colorado and what was the key factors in deciding which way they went.

Thanks!

Jim
