AW E92 M3 build

Hey everybody - excited to be starting a new thread for my current E92. I sold my previous Interlagos E92 last year with the intent of immediately picking up a better spec'd car than that one. Previous car's thread - https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1649646

I loved the Interlagos Blue color but it was impossible to keep clean where I live. I know color probably isn't the best reason to sell a car but it drove me nuts. My first M3 was Alpine White and despite being driven on dusty roads it somehow usually managed to look clean. I also figured that I could keep messing with the parts on the car and would ultimately end up spending much more than if I had just purchased an already 'built' car that I liked better anyways. I'm sure a few of you noticed similarities that I had blatantly ripped off from Brett's car, so, why not just buy his car? Lol.

I've been going to Brett (the infamous slicer here on the forums) for all my wheel needs for a few years and had been lusting after his car for quite some time. Way too many phone calls and Instagram DM's later (by me pestering him) I now have his car. Brett did tons of work to the car along with Malek@MRF as well as various other shops. Weight savings was the primary focus on this car along with top tier parts. There are a few things that were removed from the car that I probably would have kept in place (the radio and cup holders being the primary), however this car rarely sees street time so it hasn't been an issue. My buddy Spencer Berke also made a YouTube feature film on it which played a large part in my decision to pick this car up; being able to have a fully detailed video of just about everything that had been done to the car made things a lot easier. I haven't done a single thing to it since it arrived in the shipping truck aside from MRF kinematics/corner balance, and oil change/brake fluid flush.

I've had four track days with the car since it was delivered in December and have two more upcoming next month. Ever since going to BW a few times last year with the previous car I've been hooked. I was stoked to have done just under the 2 minute mark at BW 13CW on my first track outing with it. Quite a few people have told me that I just got the "same" car just in a different color. While my previous E92 was almost an identical factory spec (no nav, no EDC, no heated/power seats, etc...) the parts/work done on this car is substantially above my previous.

Current specs --

- 2013 E92 M3 Alpine White (DCT)
- Full body XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF wrap/ceramic
- BBS RIA (gold) 10.5"/11" et 25/37
- Cup 2's 265/295 (switching back to A052's soon)
- Ohlins TTX (2-way adjustable w/Eibach springs)
- Hotchkis Sway Bars (front/rear)
- BW Rear Camber Arm Bearing kit
- Fall Line Rear camber shim kit
- Fall Line Reinforced Rear Trailing Arms and Bearings
- PSI Front Swaybar End Links
- SPL Front LCA
- SPL Front Tension Rods
- SPL Front Tie Rod Ends
- SPL Rear Upper Traction Links
- SPL Rear Upper Wishbones
- SPL Rear Toe Arm Kit
- MRF Solid Sub-Frame Bushings
- Powerflex Diff Bushings Purple
- M14 Press-in Stud Conversion to F8X wheel hubs (85mm bullet nose)
- Akrapovic GT4 x-pipe
- Akrapovic Cat back exhaust w/Titanium tips
- AP Essex Radical Front/Rear BBK
- DS1 pads (and 2500's)
- VAC Baffled Oil Pan
- BPM Tune (will switch to Alpine later)
- Voltphreaks VPH1200 Battery
- CSF cooling (radiator/oil/DCT/power steering/etc..)
- Karbonius Intake/Plenum/Elbow
- SLON DCT pan
- BW Motor Mounts
- MFactory Carbon Fiber driveshaft
- Stack Gauges
- Macht Schnell Gauge Pod
- Macht Schnell DCT Temp Sensor Boss
- Sparco QRT-C (carbon) seats
- Brey Krause Side Mounts
- OE BMW factory sliders
- Schroth Harness - Profi 3
- OE CF Interior trim
- OE CF center console
- Safe Craft Fire Extinguisher
- GT4 canards
- OE BMW GTS lip (now Mkrennsport fiberglass GT4 lip)
- OE BMW M235iR wing (with GTS trunk reinforcements)
- OE BMW GTS Cage (powder coated white)
- OE BMW Rear Seat Delete
- OE BMW GTS Steering Wheel
- PSDesigns GTS arms rest (replica)
- Motorsport 24 Carbon Door Cards
- Radio Delete and radio delete panel (radio removed by Brett when door cards were installed)
- Front cup holder delete (for weight)
- Wiper fluid holder/motor/wiper delete (for weight)
- Sound deadening/lining delete (for weight)
- Varis lower diffuser tray
- Euro front bumper
- iND hood/trunk painted emblem (gloss black border)

I don't have any plans of changing anything on the car besides my alignment setup after a few more track days. I've had E88's on order for a while (polished lips, black center) and will add those eventually, but that's probably the full extent of what will change. I will most likely be adding a little more weight to the back of the car as there is a slight front bias. The biggest difference between this car and my previous car are the brakes. Stock E9X brakes are the worst, even with track pads. The initial conversation between me and Brett started with me wanting to buy his brakes; I ended up with his entire car

(my buddy @evil.1m taking it out)

M240iR wing plates

Overall very happy with the purchase. Many more track days (God willing) to come.

He did a 1:58** I believe. He wasn't pushing it at all, which I'm appreciative of. He's sure there's quite a bit more time in it as there should be. Not as much time as there is in his car, but at least a few seconds more

This car is literally the gold standard and my inspiration. Thanks for sharing all of the details and I hope you get to enjoy it for many years to come.

I absolutely love the RIA's. This is the car that convinced me I need a set in the future. Perfection!

LOL at people that said you got the same car. Hardly. Serious step up. Blue is better but I'd have done the same thing.

Glad to see this thing is getting some track time. I need to do the same with mine.

The scales at MRF suggest ~3,250 with 1/4 tank and no driver

Dude, this build is absolutely epic. You did NOT skimp on the high quality parts!

Any chance of seeing the rear seat delete?

Killer build. I love the carbon door cards those are the nicest e92 replacement door cards I’ve seen, and they still have an arm rest too which most don’t.

Man, seeing this post puts a tear in my eye. I miss the car but glad it went to someone who truly enjoys and appreciates it. It's great to see you using it as intended!

It was 3205 on my scales. I didn't have anything in the trunk (including the floor), it had 10.5 square RIA with 275 Goodyears, and I don't think the harnesses were in the car at the time. I'm trying to think of anything else that could cause a discrepancy.

Thanks! Mostly Brett's doing though. I will get more photos of the rear seat area soon.

Not sure. Both harnesses were/are in it. Only thing tire-wise that changed when weighed were 275/295 A052.

I forgot one more thing - glove compartment was removed (10+ lbs iirc)
