Anyone with MPE and stock mid-pipe?

Hey everyone,

I'm mulling over purchasing an M Performance exhaust come warmer weather, but first I'm hoping to see and hear one in person. If anyone in the Boston area has it with a stock midsection and is willing to let me in the passenger seat for a drive and listen, it would be much appreciated! No rush either, I figure the weather will still be crappy for the next month +.

I have this set up & can tell you it is probably the quietest of all set ups, but the purr it makes when cruising then throttle opened up is awesome. I will be doing test pipes or an xpipe when the money is ready. I use to have a army trix catback with MS xpipe and loved that roar as well basically every exhaust sounds good on that v8, but i wanted to be on the quieter sode this time around... i live in new haven, ct a few hours away but if u ever around ill take you for a spin long as you come with some negative covid test results lol

Appreciate the offer! Thanks for the background as well. I'm not looking for a pure increase in loudness, and I've heard the MPE has a unique sound to it so I figure it's best to listen live first.

I may take you up on your offer if no one else closer by has a similar setup (with a test in hand of course ).

Thanks again!

Thanks!

I've spent more hours (days/weeks/months) than I care to admit searching the interwebs for such videos. Agreed this is one of the better ones!

Reading posts on the subject, it sounds like (no pun intended) listening in person is a different experience, allowing you to hear the more subtle tones that struggle to come through via video/audio clips.

Corsa is more aggressive, MPE is more authentic. If you are a fan of the unique "hollow" sound, MPE is a good choice.

Currently have the OEM exhaust, so any change will be a positive.

I am first and foremost a fan of OEM, which is what brings me to MPE. Basically my OCD precludes me from doing anything to the car that couldn't have come from BMW. I have been told by others that Corsa is a solid setup, but realistically I probably won't go in that direction for said reason.

I've been wanting to change my exhaust on both my M3 and my Hemi Jeep but my biggest fear is drone!

No drone whatsoever with Corsa. I'm in Stoneham, MA if you want to go for a ride along.

Corsa is what I was looking at for my Jeep.

Do you have a link to the one you have?

Check out FCP euro. Corsa only makes one version for e92/e90.
