haha, probably next year sometime. i'll be in germany for a bit. i gotta make sure she gets a good run on all the autobahn.

FR is nice, but just not my style. maybe next generation...

Looks great! Yeah, verify if the seat bottoms changed whenever you can. Also it would be nice to see a good shot of the headrests after the plastic is removed since they changed slightly, and a close up of the start button with the CF leather background. Mine was completed last week as well but probably won't see it for another month or so.

Congrats man! You're the first week 36 build to receive their car. Mine still waiting to get on a boat. I'm so relieved to see the new idrive! Car looks awesome. On with the mods!!!

I've posted my impressions of the new iDrive before, and your images confirm some of my thoughts. Of course it's just my opinion, but I think the new controller doesn't do anything at all for the interior. The elegance and simplicity (aesthetically) of the 1st gen controller is better than the pile of buttons surrounding the new controller. Of course, the functionality of the new iDrive completely blows away the first-gen system. Just a shame they had to clutter up the center console with all those buttons (and a less attractive knob).

Congrats, I'm also a military sales customer. My CA hasn't even put in my official order yet, because he claims he hasn't got the final price list yet for the new M3. I wonder why you were able to get yours and I can't even put in an order yet?
