The race was awesome! My buddy had an RV on West Bend so we had a great view. It was so hot, I can't imagine how the drivers and pit workers felt. I watched the replay on ESPN3 and the announcers were talking about how some of the cars have air conditioning. Never knew that.

I bet the hospitality tickets were nice. Where were you located?

this is the prob w/ the July ALMS races, too damn hot, and one tree on the hill. I love LRP, and am trying to get back to the area for the Labor Day vintage race. You go to Labor day or Memorial day weekends?

Never had the chance to to get to one of those. They sound fun. I am planning on going to the Grand Am race in September though.

The extra 20k probably was the paint, makes it extra special.

no, it wouldn't be the paint. FO is about 5k on it's own, here it should be factored into the Lime Rock package price which is about 10 k.

that price sheet is not accurate. if they are adding a whole bunch of after market extras on top of an LRP M3 , fine. but the base price of the car is not 74k.

roughly 83k MSRP for a DCT LRP and 81k MSRP for a 6MT LRP.

How can I watch the replay? Would I have had to record it?? And yes it was very Hott but the z4s did have A/C ..Pretty sick!

We were actually in the RLL transport trailers, and in the pits if we weren't eating under the white tents. It was seriously an amazing time. Got to meet the BMW drivers and Bobby Rahal. All great people. Best of all could you believe I won those tickets.. Off Instagram?!?

The only thing that looks questionable on the price list are the black wheels which on some Limerocks was included in the package price..

You've be a fool to pay MSRP of course... but i'm sure they are trying to find that right sucker.
THE lime rock for the options is well worth it.

An intercooler blown M3 running water/meth to keep IATs ambient is phenominal on the track. The throttle response is unchanged as is the linear powerband. If you want, you can also keep the revs down if you don't need all the power up top.

Now with this much power, things need to be upgraded to handle the additional power. Good news is that the M3 has the chassis to support this. And will provide you a track car that will be faster in the hands of the right driver.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I ever pull the trigger on SC, it will be an intercooled version.

Nice shot!

ALMS actually puts up all race replays on their YouTube channel.
