But yeah since my thread, I now use BMW ISTA+ (AKA Rheingold for the older versions of the software). Not sure if you can do everything for E9X M3s but I use it for my E92 335is for everything really except coding options. You can code with ISTA/P but I've never used it as apparently it forces to update all modules and can sometimes cause issues without a proper ICOM cable (I use Bimmergeeks OBD2 K+DCAN to USB).

I have a BMW software folder with ISTA+, ISTA/P, Mikes BMW tools but it's 150GB and not sure where I could upload that without risking things. You can find versions online and usually more on Torrent websites I believe.
