Any pics of an old FR interior?
After lurking here for the past few months and test driving a 2011 M3 (both with DCT and manual tran), i am ready to order. Know all the options but torn between Fox Red or Black Leather interior.
Would anyone have some Fox Red and Black leather interior pics of an M3 that is a few years old? I would like to see how they age!! Many thanks in advance. |

That looks great, I'm currently at 2 years of ownership and 23k miles, and my seats are much more worn than yours. Sorry OP, I have no pics. My seats are a bit shinier and more wrinkled. I still think getting extended FR was the best choice.

Here's a pic of mine. Wear and tear is very minimal compared to some other cars that I've had.

I don't have any pics of my interior but after three years of ownership and cleaning/treating the seats (driver's especially) they are in excellent condition. One thing I've been doing to minimize wear on the side bolster is to move the seat back a little before getting in/out of the car. I definitely recommend FR and if you take care of it the interior will look great for a very long time!

Some photos in my garage. However, photos do not unfortunately represent the true picture, I recommend you see it in person at the dealership.
PS. The photo from Maseroche above is very close to what you see in real life at the dealership.

I've got a FR E90 on the way. What type of conditioner do you all use?

That's why these forums are great. OP requests some pictures for a legitimate concern, and he gets them within minutes.
Back to topic, I'm also interested in what you use to condition the leather. I think climate also plays a big deal. Texas summers wreak havoc on leather interiors. (in general) |
