The sub harness being sold in this thread is for the optional Top HiFi systems (Logic7 or Enhanced Premium Audio/Individual Audio). The question answered was about a sub harness for the standard HiFi system from MY2006 to MY2009.

I will not have a sub harness for the HiFi system.

Final samples will be delivered this week (most probably tomorrow), if they are correct then full order will be made and they should be delivered by end of month/beginning of April.

Anyway you think you will have them by mid month? I get my car april 15th and this is one of the first things I want to do while I have the whole back apart installing the rear cam system...

Or can I buy a sample one?

I have had quite bad luck in finding a reputable, reasonable priced and honest tool shop for this project for the last year... so far this one looks like it will finally deliver in those 8 weeks and not much sooner.

Newbie on forum--signed up yesterday though I've had my 2008 E92 M3 Coupe for about a year.

I have the "Enhanced Premium Sound" $1900 option. A couple of questions:

1) Is this "dirac" or "logic 7"?

2) Do I need your harness to add a bit more bass; i.e., trunk sub along with amp?

1) It is the Enhanced Premium Audio, seriously. The processing is DIRAC.

2) That's what this harness is for.

1) Unplug Top HiFi OEM amp from the OEM audio connector.

2) Plug harness to OEM amp at one side and to the OEM audio connector at the other side.

3) Low pass RCA outputs and a remote turn on signal are then available for an aftermarket subwoofer amp.

I strongly recommend professional installation if you do not understand the purpose of this harness and the description in the very first post of this thread.
